Fox News host and former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany made it clear Thursday that she was not impressed with actor and former Republican California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

McEnany said on “Outnumbered” that Schwarzenegger was standing against freedom and “walking the line” with Dr. Anthony Fauci, risking Americans losing trust in what he had to say. (RELATED: Arnold Schwarzenegger Tells Anti-Maskers ‘Screw Your Freedom,’ As He Touts His ‘Tolerance’ And ‘Inclusion’)

McEnany responded to a video of Schwarzenegger lashing out at people who refused to wear masks, arguing that if their actions negatively impacted other people they couldn’t just claim they had the freedom to do it anyway.

“Screw your freedom. Because with freedom comes obligations and responsibilities,” he said. “You cannot just say I have the right to do x, y and z when you affect other people. That is when it gets serious.”

“It is frightening how many elected officials we have in this country and purveyors of science, Dr. Fauci, that don’t understand freedom,” McEnany replied. “It’s a concept that is the bedrock of our society. What a terrible thing to say. To think this it man led one of the largest states in our country.”

McEnany went on to criticize Fauci for suggesting that failure to wear a mask was an infringement of someone else’s rights.

“He clearly doesn’t understand individual rights and freedoms either. It’s frightening how out of touch these people are, how little they understand about our Constitution and our freedoms,” McEnany continued. “That’s not a popular thing to say. Good luck with that one, Arnold Schwarzenegger. You are walking the line with Dr. Fauci who a lot of people have lost a lot of trust in.”
