A man pleaded guilty Monday to making death threats against members of Congress, as well as illegal possession of ammunition.

Queens, New York, resident Eduard Florea was in federal court Monday. He officially admitted guilt in threatening to kill members of Congress and being in illegal possession of ammunition, according to a press release from the Department of Justice (DOJ), specifically the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Florea made the threats on the social media app Parler under the username, “LoneWolfWar,” according to The New York Times. Reportedly a member of the white nationalist group, The Proud Boys, Florea directed his violent threats against Democratic Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock, as well as other members of Congress, and made other allusions to committing violent acts.

“I am awaiting my orders … armed and ready to deploy,” one post read, according to the DOJ.

“Warnock is going to have a hard time casting votes for communist policies when he’s swinging with the f***ing fish,” one of the posts mentioned, according to the DOJ press release.

The threatening posts appeared online between Jan. 5 and Jan. 6.

About a week after the posts were published, FBI and task force officers with the New York Joint Terrorism Task Force executed a warrant to search Florea’s home. In their search, they discovered Florea had past convictions for a firearms-related felony and illegally owned over 1,000 rounds of ammunition, the Eastern District of New York reported.

Florea was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
