“If Daniels turns small-sample dominance into large-sample prowess, the Dawgs have everything they need,” ESPN wrote in part about the talented passer.

It’s important to note here that ESPN isn’t claiming Daniels is the most talented player in America. That’s simply not the case.

I’m not even sure he’s a top 10 player in America, but he might be the most important player to his team in the country.

If Daniels is rolling, then Georgia has a legit shot at winning the national title. If he struggles, then the Bulldogs will probably settle for another solid but not great season.

It’s not an understatement at all to say the hopes and dreams of the state ride with him.

The good news for Georgia fans is that I truly believe Daniels is in for a monster year. Now, will he be great enough to win the SEC? That remains to be seen, but the potential is there.
