A missing six-week-old baby was found safe Wednesday in Youngstown, Ohio, after being left inside a car that was later allegedly stolen, according to police.

Cleveland Police received a report Tuesday evening from a woman who alleged that she had been in an argument with and assaulted by Tiashia Dumas, whom she knew. Following the argument and alleged assault, Dumas allegedly drove off with the woman’s car, while her infant son, Cannon Tatum McDoodle, was still inside. The victim told authorities Dumas had taken her 2006 black Chevy Impala.

Police said there was “information” indicating Dumas “may be intoxicated” and was in Youngstown, which is roughly 75 miles from Cleveland. (RELATED: Woman Charged For Allegedly Shooting Mom, Kidnapping 6-Week-Old Twins)

Authorities quickly launched a search and “worked throughout the night,” eventually finding the child in Youngstown. It is unclear whether the child was found in Dumas’ custody.

Police say the child “is in good health” and is currently in the custody of Children and Family Services. No arrests have been made and the incident is under investigation, according to police.
