Tennessee football coach Josh Heupel has some low standards for what impresses him.

In a video tweeted by @VolBlood, the first-year head coach of the Volunteers informed the media that he’s impressed by the way his players walk up the stairs and attend meetings. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Yes, this is very real. You can watch his full comments below.

Well, it looks like Tennessee is locked in for an undefeated season and a national title! No way they’re losing with this kind of energy!

I mean, you all heard him, right? His guys know how to show up to meetings and walk up the stairs with energy!

I don’t envy any squad that finds itself on the field against Tennessee. They simply have no chance against all this great energy, passion and focus.

Heupel deserves to 100% get roasted for these comments. He 100% should be getting dragged. Imagine if Nick Saban told the press he was happy with the way his players walked up stairs and went to meetings.

I can’t even imagine it happening. While Heupel is out here talking like this, Saban is talking about how playing for the Crimson Tide isn’t a democracy.

Do we all see the difference?

Best of luck to all the Tennessee fans out there. It sounds like you’re going to need it!
