Brandi Love isn’t putting a ton of faith into OnlyFans’ updated stance on porn.

The popular adult content platform surprised a lot of fans when it recently announced that hardcore pornography would be banned. (SLIDESHOW: These Women On Instagram Hate Wearing Clothes)

However, things changed again Wednesday when it was announced that the proposed porn ban was being dropped and things would remain as is for the time being.

However, Love isn’t sold. As a friend of the company, I had to reach out to the legendary adult film actress and get her thoughts. She told me the following:

Unfortunately, like so much of what we read, hear and see nowadays, nobody knows what to trust. I have no reason to believe this statement is trustworthy, accurate or even semi-permanent. My team & I will continue to make decisions & plans that, to the best of our ability, protect the relationship between my fans and I. At the very least, it’s clear that having all our eggs in one basket is dangerous. It’s time to diversify and give fans options.

It’s clear that people have no idea what the hell is going on with OnlyFans. The plan to ban porn seemed like a business disaster waiting to happen, and now there’s even more confusion involved.

The part of this that makes no sense to me at all are the cheerleaders thinking OnlyFans banning porn would change anything.

It won’t. This is all about money, and if OnlyFans goes down, someone will fill the void. Welcome to capitalism and economics 101.

In the meantime, I guess fans of the site and the women who use it will have to sit and wait to find out the next step. For now, porn is still 100% allowed.
