Kaley Cuoco and husband Karl Cook announced Friday, after 3 years of marriage, that the two are going their separate ways after current paths have taken them in “opposite directions.”

“Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions,” read a statement from the 35-year-old actress and her avid equestrian husband to People magazine. (PHOTOS: ‘Big Bang’ Star Goes Braless For Her Big Cover)

“We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together,” the statement added. “There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary.” (RELATED: Kaley Cuoco Covers Up Wedding Tattoo With Moth Tattoo)

“We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further,” the statement concluded.

“The Big Bang Theory” star and Cook began dating in 2016 and got engaged a year later on “The Flight Attendant” star’s birthday in November 2017.

The actress and Karl tied the knot in June 2018 at an intimate ceremony with friends and family at a horse stable near San Diego, California.

Cuoco was previously married to former professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting and the two split after 21 months of marriage.
