A player dropped a loud f-bomb during the Flyers/Oilers game Wednesday.
In a video tweeted by @HockeyStuff419, a player got picked up on a broadcast mic on the ice shouting “F**k you,” and there was obviously no way for it to be bleeped on TV. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
Watch the funny moment unfold below.
One of the great moments so far in @NHL_On_TNT coverage. Love those on ice mics. Kenny Albert doesn’t miss a beat. @ACBellino @JoeKinseyexp (R -language) pic.twitter.com/A0qL1Yv6Dn

I think I speak for sports fans everywhere when I say we want as many athletes as possible mic’d up and we want as many mics as possible near the field of play.
We don’t want the sanitized versions we usually see on TV. We want it to be as raw and as real as possible.
This might come as a surprise to some people, but athletes swear in the heat of the moment. They’re just like the rest of us!
They get fired up and drop f-bombs from time to time. This unknown player got picked up on a mic in his vicinity and the rest is history.
The NHL should lean into this and milk it for all it’s worth. Give the fans a show. It’s what they want to see!
