The Green Bay Packers beat the Cardinals 24-21 on one of the weirdest plays in football history.

With 15 seconds remaining in the game, Kyler Murray threw a pass to A.J. Green in the end zone, but the receiver didn’t even attempt to look for the ball. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The pass was picked off by Green Bay and that ended the game. You can watch the absurd play unfold below.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything like this before in my life. Green was out there like he was going to block in one-on-one coverage, Murray threw the ball his way, the former Bengals star didn’t turn around and the pass was intercepted.

Seriously, what the hell was that? Was it a miscommunication or did Green have no idea what was going on?

There’s simply no excuse for that kind of play from Green. He’s an NFL receiver. A high school kid wouldn’t make that mistake.

There’s simply no justification for blowing a play like that. It’s that simple.

What a bizarre and weird sequence of events.
