NFL player Nigel Bradham has reportedly been arrested.

According to TMZ, the current NFL free agent was arrested in Florida after police allegedly found weapons and more than three pounds of marijuana in his vehicle. He was charged with possessing marijuana with the intent to sell, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of marijuana over 20 grams. One of the guns found in the vehicle allegedly came back as a stolen weapon from Missouri. Bradham bonded out this past Sunday.

As always, Bradham, who most notably played for the Eagles, has the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. That’s our system here and we should all be thankful for it.

Having said that, this isn’t a minor situation like a traffic ticket.

He has been accused of multiple felonies. If he has a great lawyer, now would be the time to call them because it sounds like he’s going to need them.

Whenever you’re allegedly found with a stolen gun and drugs, the police are going to treat it incredibly seriously and for good reason.

We’ll see how it all shakes out for Bradham, but I wouldn’t expect to see him get signed in the near future.
