Joe Flacco will reportedly get the start this weekend against the Jets.
According to Rich Cimini, the veteran quarterback is expected to get the starting nod against the Miami Dolphins. The Jets traded for Flacco after Zach Wilson got hurt. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
Cimini reported that Wilson is “still not 100%,” which is why Flacco is getting the start.

It’s going to be fascinating to see what Flacco does on the field against the Dolphins and Tua. He did start multiple games in 2020 for the Jets before landing on the Eagles, but I think I speak for most fans when I say he’s far from a star.
At this point, Flacco is several years removed from his best days of football. That’s just a fact.

The question is whether or not he can juice up the Jets enough to beat an average at best Miami team. My guess is no, but we play the game for a reason.
