Former NBA player Kwame Brown doesn’t want to hear stupid takes about Kyle Rittenhouse.

Rittenhouse was acquitted this past Friday on all charges after shooting multiple people attacking him during a riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in August 2020. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

In reaction to the verdict, the former first overall pick in the NBA draft said the case was self-defense. “That to me, in my opinion, looked to me to be self-defense. The courts found it to be self-defense,” Brown told his fans.

He further added, “A bunch of people are getting paid to push this racist sh*t. That’s all it is.”

For those of you who want to see his entire reaction video, you can watch it below.

It’s hard to disagree with Brown, and I most certainly do not disagree with him. I spent pretty much every single day of last week talking about how Rittenhouse did what he had to do to survive.

You might not hear that on a lot of TV shows, but I honestly believe it’s true.

Following the verdict, we saw too many stupid tweets to count from celebrities acting like this was a grave miscarriage of justice.

It wasn’t, and it’s good to see at least one person in the world of sports and entertainment take a stand for truth.

Hopefully, more and more people start paying attention to the evidence instead of just listening to whatever they hear on TV.
