What I didn’t expect was for things to go off the rails as quickly as they did. The entire episode was absolutely absurd and off the rails.

Jamie finally confronted his biological father about Garrett’s role in the attack on the Dutton family. After initially looking like he was going to take him into custody, he lowered his weapon as his father embraced him.

Jamie now has a very important choice to make. Will he truly choose Garrett over the family that raised and cared for him?

Unfortunately, I’m starting to think the answer to that question might be yes. Add in the fact Beth seems intent on ruining his life, and it seems like Jamie is about to head down a very bad path.

If he goes down the path of completely siding with Garrett, then he only has himself to blame. Garrett also made it clear he won’t stop trying to kill the Duttons. The only question at this point is who dies next. Garrett or a Dutton?

The brawl between Lloyd and Walker has been a long time coming, and it reached a boiling point in this episode after the oldest hand on the ranch knifed the man trying to humiliate him.

They stepped into the ring and as we saw, it got very bloody.

I have really been enjoying Kayce and Monica going off on their own. It’s clear that Monica isn’t cut out for the ranch and Tate at this point in time doesn’t appear to be either.

Will Kayce return? In my opinion, that seems inevitable, but as Luke Grimes pointed out, he’s not so sure himself!

Overall, it’s been a hell of a season and this episode didn’t let us down at all. Rip literally had to brutalize Lloyd following his beatdown of Walker to close out the episode.

As a fan of the show, I’m not sure I was ready to handle that.

There are so many paths this season might go, and I honestly don’t know where it’ll end. What I do know is that it’s getting increasingly darker with every passing episode. As a fan, I can’t get enough of that. Inject it into my veins!
