“The Northman” looks like it’s going to be a very dark film.
The plot of the movie, according to the trailer’s YouTube description, is, “A Viking prince seeks justice for the murder of his father.” (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)
Sounds simple enough, right? Well, just wait until you see the trailer. It’s absolutely wild. You can give it a watch below.
This movie looks insanely intense, and I’m here for it. While I wouldn’t say it’s my usual genre, it simply looks too good to pass up.
It looks like the blood is going to be flowing, and that might be putting it mildly. Trailer paints about as ominous a picture as possible.

Furthermore, the cast is loaded with talent. Alexander Skarsgard, Anya Taylor-Joy, Nicole Kidman, Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe are all outstanding talents.
Throw them all in the same movie and you have the recipe for a massive hit.
