The game was supposed to happen this Thursday, but the Badgers announced Monday afternoon that the matchup has been called off because the Bears are dealing with COVID-19 issues. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The hits really seem to never stop when it comes to COVID-19 over the past couple weeks. Every major pro sports league has had issues, and the problems with the virus have also seeped into the world of college sports.
The Badgers are just the latest team to have to deal with problems. Luckily, the issues are with Morgan State and not us.

The only positive here is that the Badgers are looking for an opponent to fill the Thursday slot. Can we find one on such short notice?
I have no idea, but I’d prefer looking for one than just throwing in the towel. You’d have to imagine there’s a team within a couple-hours drive that would want to play against the Badgers at the Kohl Center.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed that we can find an opponent! The last thing we need is to drop a game over COVID-19.
