The Wisconsin Badgers beat Maryland 70-69 Monday night.

Going into the game, I said playing the Terrapins represented another opportunity to notch a win. Despite Maryland not being great this year, they’re still a B1G opponent with some talent. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Tyler Wahl dropped 21, Johnny Davis scored 19 and Brad Davison chipped in 11 to help secure the win. Was it a hell of a loser closer than I thought it’d be?

Yes. Am I still happy with the win? Hell, you’ll never hear me complain about being 13-2 and 4-1 in the B1G at this point in the season.

Nobody wanted to give the Badgers any respect before the season started, and we’re now sitting pretty with 13 wins 1/3 of the way through January.

Why don’t I hear all the critics and haters still chirping so loudly? What changed? We all know that we’ll never get the respect we deserve, but that’s okay.

We’ll just keep putting in work.
