It sounds like season five of “Yellowstone” won’t arrive in the summer.

The fourth season wrapped up January 2, 2022, and fans have been eagerly awaiting any news on when we can expect the Duttons to return to TV. (REVIEW: ‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 Finale Shocks Fans With Major Death)

According to producer David Glasser, we can probably rule out a summer 2022 return.

The producer of the legendary show with Kevin Costner told Variety production will probably resume in May and then new episodes will arrive fall 2022.

“I know with Taylor, he’s got a lot to say and a lot to write. He’s deep into season five of ‘Yellowstone’ now. He’s got some incredible ideas that he shared that I think audiences are going to be really excited about,” Glasser further explained.

Earlier, I predicted that season five might start this summer after some whispers that production was already heavily underway.

Apparently, that’s not going to happen, which is really unfortunate. We had to wait for more than a year between seasons three and four.

However, as I always say when dealing with entertainment, I’m willing to wait longer than I want to as long as the final product is good.

If season five is off the rails, I’ll wait until the fall, but if we’re going to wait, it better be damn good. It’s that simple.
