WMATA’s Twitter account was out of control early Monday.
The official Twitter account for the metro system in Washington D.C., appeared to be hacked when it tweeted, “f**k up n**ga,” “anyone here have boobs lol” and much more. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
As of late Monday morning, the tweets appear to have been deleted. You can see screenshots in the post below.
Clearly whatever is going on at the @wmata (Washington, DC) metro twitter twitter is going to be the story of President’s Day on Twitter pic.twitter.com/XKzufnom9j

Some earlier tweets make it appear as though the individual responsible for hacking it might have been a recently fired employee.

It’s never a good thing when your Twitter account appears to be hacked and starts firing off tweets that are definitely not fit for the internet!
Getting hacked is bad enough. Once your account starts dropping the n-bomb and tweets about “boobs,” you’ve really lost control of the situation.

I can’t wait to hear WMATA’s official explanation for this disaster. Disavow and find someone to blame! It’s a strategy as old as time itself!
The WMATA Twitter account was hacked last night. I captured this tweet before it was deleted. Obvious it was a hack because real WMATA social managers would be more respectful when addressing Queen Bee. pic.twitter.com/RNGWr0TwDI

What a wild day for the metro system in the nation’s capital!
