Georgia running back Kenny McIntosh was reportedly arrested over the weekend.

The talented Bulldogs football player was charged with reckless driving and not wearing a seat belt after an alleged Sunday morning accident in Georgia, according to DawgNation. McIntosh was not hurt in the accident. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Seth Emerson reported that the driver of the other car was taken to a hospital after the accident and at one point lost consciousness. He also reported that McIntosh was allegedly driving 20 MPH over the speed limit at the time of the crash.

Obviously, it’s always a serious situation whenever anyone gets hurt, but that doesn’t mean that McIntosh doesn’t have the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

He absolutely does, but this is a very tough look for him if he’s guilty.

Being charged with a pair of misdemeanors after an early morning crash while allegedly speeding isn’t what any college coach wants to see happen to a player.

While it’s not the most serious situation when it comes to athletes getting arrested, I can promise you this is the last thing Kirby Smart wants to deal with.

Hopefully, the person taken to the hospital heals up and McIntosh can learn from his mistakes if he’s guilty.
