Eva Mendes is open to returning to acting, but she has some restrictions!

There was a time when Mendes was one of the most popular actresses in the game before eventually stepping away. Well, she’s ready to roll again, but not everything will be on the table. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

“I have such a short list of what I will do, with four kids. I mean, if it was a fun project. But now I won’t do violence, I don’t want to do sexuality, the list is short,” Mendes said during the Tuesday episode of “The View” when discussing a potential return, according to Variety.

If you’re not okay with a film featuring violence or sex, your options are going to be limited to content designed for kids. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s the reality of the situation.

I suppose a movie like “Hitch,” which helped make Mendes a superstar, would still be fine, but many others wouldn’t be.

It’s a damn shame too because “We Own the Night” and “Once Upon a Time in Mexico” are both outstanding films with Mendes, but would definitely no longer be allowed under her new rule.

She absolutely annihilated in both movies, but I guess we’ll never see that happen again. Also, if you’ve never seen “We Own the Night,” it’s awesome.

We’ll have to wait and see what kind of projects Mendes might take on, but it looks like we can rule out a lot of options!
