This is an absolutely tragic situation, and it’s absolutely mind-boggling that a young man dies at the age of 25 from natural causes. I’m not even sure how something like that is possible.

I’m sure more details will come out in the coming days, but right now, I have no doubt there are a lot of people close to Swanigan hurting in a big way.

He was an absolute superstar in the Big Ten. He was a freak of nature in the paint, and he was the definition of an absolute nightmare for opposing teams.

While his NBA career didn’t pan out as many anticipated it would, there’s no doubt Swanigan was a legit college superstar. Now, at the age of 25, he’s passed away.

It’s nothing short of heartbreaking.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Swanigan’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
