Former President Donald Trump vowed to “never, ever ride a bicycle” after President Joe Biden fell off of his bicycle Sunday in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Trump made the statement Saturday during his speech at the American Freedom Tour.

“We can erase the calamities of the Biden years. All it takes is a House, a Senate and a president who will put America first,” Trump said. “One of the greatest travesties of all this is to see a person in the White House who even after years of political experience, has absolutely no clue how to be the president of the United States, and I hope he has recovered, because as you know he fell off his bicycle. No, I’m serious, I hope he’s okay.”

“I make this pledge to you today. I will never, ever ride a bicycle,” he said.

Biden and his wife, Jill, were riding their bicycles in Delaware when his right foot got caught in the pedal strap while trying to stop, causing him to tip over. Secret Service agents immediately helped him up, where the president then greeted a crowd of people. The president was uninjured from the incident. He reportedly answered a child’s question of what it is like to run the country and was asked about Chinese tariffs by a reporter.

“I’m not going to talk to you on my vacation,” he said. He noted that he is in the process of communicating with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
