The U.S. military is being fed a steady diet of liberal propaganda in order to transform the world’s greatest fighting force into cheerleaders for the latest woke cause.

Thanks to over two centuries of steady leadership, the U.S. military has proved powerful enough to liberate the oppressed and protect Americans and their allies.

However, concerns are growing that current military leadership is less interested in commissioning battle-ready officers than they are in radically changing the U.S. Armed Forces into social justice warriors. “The Left’s woke LGTQ agenda has infiltrated the U.S. military under the Biden regime,” Republican Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs told the Daily Caller in June. “The U.S. military is designed to defend our nation and our freedoms. However, it is unacceptably using taxpayer money to advance a social agenda and virtue signal.”

“Adversaries like China and Russia are making a mockery of the Biden Administration’s leadership priorities. We should be promoting our military capabilities – not rainbow bullets,” added Biggs.

Biggs and thirteen other Republicans in the House of Representatives are demanding Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin defend his use of taxpayer money on social justice issues like celebrating Pride Month.

The U.S. Navy instituted education on “the importance of using correct pronouns as well as polite etiquette when you may not be sure of someone’s pronouns,” according to a new instructional video released by the Navy in May, right before Pride Month.

“Hi! My name is Jony, and I use he/him pronouns,” says Naval Undersea Warfare Center engineer Jony Rozon. Rozon, along with engineer Conchy Vasquez, helps instruct sailors on how using “inclusive language” can create “a safe space” for LGBTQ soldiers and helps to signal they are “allies” and “accept everybody.”

“Using the right pronouns is a really simple way to affirm someone’s identity. It is a signal of acceptance and respect,” Rozon instructed the U.S. Navy.

Austin has not shied away from his intent to include leftist ideologies in military policy. Austin even promised during his 2021 Senate confirmation hearings that he would use his position to “rid our ranks of racists and extremists.”

“We also owe our people a working environment free of discrimination, hate and harassment,” Austin stated. “If confirmed, I will fight hard to stamp out sexual assault, to rid our ranks of racists and extremists, and to create a climate where everyone fit and willing has the opportunity to serve this country with dignity.”

“The job of the Department of Defense is to keep America safe from our enemies. But we can’t do that if some of those enemies lie within our own ranks,” Austin added.

Despite Austin’s extensive search, fewer than 100 military members were accused of being involved in extremist activity, a December 2021 report found.

Austin’s obsession with gender and race aren’t taboo with other top military leadership, Congressional hearing testimonies show.

Senators questioned Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark A. Milley, in June 2021 about teaching critical race theory to U.S. Army cadets at West Point.

Milley defended the required reading to the House Armed Services Committee, arguing that it was important for all members of the military to be trained in critical race theory.

“First of all, on the issue of critical race theory, et cetera, I’ll obviously have to get much smarter on whatever the theory is, but I do think it’s important, actually, for those of us in uniform to be open-minded and be widely read,” Milley said. “The United States Military Academy is a university, and it is important that we train, and we understand, and I want to understand white rage, and I’m white.”

“And I personally find it offensive that we are accusing the United States military, our general officers … of being ‘woke’ or something else because we’re studying some theories that are out there,” Milley added. Chief Naval Officer (CNO) Admiral Michael Gilday also defended recommending every sailor in the U.S. Navy read Ibarm X. Kendi’s book “How to Be an Antiracist” to Republican Indiana Rep. Jim Banks in front of the House Armed Services Committee in June 2021.

“Kendi’s book states that capitalism is essentially racist, and Kendi is clear that racism must be eliminated. Yes or no, do you personally consider advocating for the destruction of American capitalism to be extremist?” Banks asked Gilday.

“Here’s what I know, Congressman,” responded Gilday. “There is racism in the United States Navy.”

Gilday accused Banks of “painting the U.S. military, in this case, the U.S. Navy, as weak, as woke” and that “this is a bigger issue than Kendi’s book.”

“Our strength is in our diversity, and our sailors understand that. Racism in the U.S. is a very complex issue. What we benefit from is an open discussion about those issues,” added Gilday.

Despite promises from military leadership that introducing CRT into the required or recommended reading for uniformed military members was to aid in positive and “open discussions about those issues,” when soldiers push back on woke ideology, the conversation stops.

Former Space Force Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier was removed from his post in May 2021 after publicizing concerns about military leadership pushing Marxist training while promoting his book, “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military.”

“The diversity, inclusion and equity industry and the trainings we are receiving in the military … is rooted in critical race theory, which is rooted in Marxism,” Lohmeier told L. Todd Wood on the podcast “Information Operation.”

Retired U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Greg Newbold warned in February that teaching CRT to service members will cause increased racial division and harm the nation’s “warfighting capabilities.”

“A military force’s greatest strengths are cohesion and discipline,” Newbold wrote in Task and Purpose. “Individuality or group identity is corrosive and a centrifugal force.”

“The tenets of Critical Race Theory – a cross-disciplinary intellectual and social movement that seeks to examine the intersection of race and law in the United States, but which has the unfortunate effect of dividing people along racial lines – undermine our military’s unity and diminish our warfighting capabilities,” he said.

“But when we highlight differences or group identity, we undermine cohesion and morale. Failure results,” Newbold added. (RELATED: Army Scraps Plan To Boost Recruitment By Eliminating High School Grad Requirement)

Three retired U.S. military officers, U.S. Air Force Lt Gen. Thomas McInerney; U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely; and U.S. Army Colonel Andrew O’Meara Jr. signed the “Declaration of Betrayal of West Point And the Long Gray Line,” a letter authored by “Concerned Graduates of West Point and The Long Gray Line.”

The letter, sent to the Superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy and the president and directors of the Association of Graduates (AOG), warned that West Point cadets were being indoctrinated with leftist ideologies opposed to the Academy’s original mission: “to educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country and prepared for a career of professional excellence and service to the Nation as an officer in the United States Army.”

Vallely told the Epoch Times on June 26 that the letter’s purpose was to protest the inclusion of “woke actions” by military leadership and to get the U.S. military “back on track.”

“When you take away to teach a critical race theory and communist ideology, you’re taking away from the time that could be used for learning how to shoot better, how to operate airplanes better, take care of airplanes through maintenance,” Vallely told the outlet.

“We wanted to challenge the leadership of the Academy and the Defense Dept on their WOKE actions, CRT, Diversity training, and the other discrepancies in the Academy,” Vallely told the Epoch Times. “We found it pervasive at the Naval and Air Force Academies, so we knew it was directed from the highest levels of our Military Leadership. We all want the Military to get back on track to training and leading our Armed Forces to secure America and its Citizens.”
