Tiger Woods recently made some bizarre comments about the men playing for LIV Golf.

The Saudibacked golf organization has poached some of the best golfers away from the PGA Tour with massive contracts and deep pockets. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Well, Woods doesn’t seem to understand how you can be rich and still want to be competitive.

“But what these players are doing for guaranteed money, what is the incentive to practice? What is the incentive to go out there and earn it in the dirt? You’re getting paid a lot of money up front and playing a few events and playing 54 holes,” Woods said when talking about players taking the money to play for LIV Golf, according to Darren Rovell.

Honestly, I don’t know what the hell Woods is talking about with his comments. So, if you’re getting paid, there’s no incentive to practice?

Yeah, that’s simply a delusional take. Guys who participate at the highest levels of sports do it because they’re competitive dudes. It’s in their DNA.

They’re type-A personalities and they all want to win. That’s the energy and passion that drove them all to be elite golfers, and simply being rich doesn’t change that.

Sure, it might be harder to remain motivated when you’re not scraping and clawing for your next meal, but that doesn’t mean they don’t want to win.

On this issue, Woods is 100% wrong.
