Fox News host and Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson asked viewers Wednesday for their best alternative names for the disease monkeypox.

Scientists and the World Health Organization said in June that they want to rename monkeypox over concerns of racism. A new name for the virus has yet to be announced, so Carlson took it upon himself to aggregate suggestions from his audience via social media.

“As long as they’re going to change the name, we should have some role in naming it. It shouldn’t be left up to Tony Fauci and Deborah Birx, so what should we call it?” Tucker asked his audience. “Democracypox? Schlong COVID, our favorite? Tweet us your suggestions. We’ll read the best ones tomorrow.” (RELATED: Is Tucker Carlson Trolling Or Is He Flirting With A Run At The White House?)

Twitter users were quick to throw out their suggestions, such as “politipox” and “sheep-pox.” Other ideas brought up were “fart box fever” and “they/them pox.” One name that came up more than others was “donkeypox.”

The Biden administration has estimated that at least $7 billion will be required to contain the monkeypox outbreak in the U.S. A majority of those suffering from monkeypox are gay men, with one adult film actor saying he developed serious symptoms after a 20-man “birthday orgy” for a friend.
