Social media users lost their minds after British Chef Gordon Ramsay posted a video of himself Thursday appearing to source his food from the most sustainable, safest, cleanest, most honest source possible.
Okay, so the food Ramsay was sourcing was an adorable baby lamb, so no wonder weaklings on the web had an emotional wobble at the video. “Oh, I’m going to eat you! Yummy yum yum,” Ramsey sang to the bleating babies. “Which one’s going in the oven first?” He then spots his dinner and goes, “you!”

Apparently, people lost their minds after watching the video, writing things like, “I’m not even vegetarian but this is very sad,” according to Insider. Are you f**king serious? You eat meat and fish and think that this is sad? At least these lambs have space to run around and can smell fresh air.
Most of your meat comes from factory farms where sheep are bred to produce lambs for the literal slaughter. They never see sunlight. They never know love. They just get birthed, force fed, and murdered. Unless you’re eating like Ramsay is (according to this video at least), you’re more evil to your fellow animals than he could ever be. PETA even called on Ramsay’s kids to disown him over the video, according to the Indy100. I mean, how scummy do you have to be to tell someone’s children to leave them over a funny video? PETA clearly has nothing to do now that “Tiger King” star Bhagavan “Doc” Antle is in prison.
Me? Well, I’m now starving and probably going to have lamb for dinner. I’m legitimately annoyed he didn’t let us know how he prepped the little thing.
