Actor Ezra Miller was charged by state police with felony burglary Sunday for allegedly stealing bottles of booze from a home in Vermont back in May.

The “Justice League” star entered a home when owners were not present and jacked “multiple bottles of alcohol” from the residence, according to a press release issued by Vermont State Police (VSP).

The homeowners notified the police of a burglary, leading police to take note that several bottles of spirits were missing from the home, the statement read. The discovery sparked an investigation by VSP.

After reviewing both surveillance film and statements, VSP charged Miller, 29, with stealing the alcohol. (RELATED: Alcohol-Related Deaths Skyrocketed During COVID-19 Pandemic, Study Finds)

The allegation dates back to May 1, although it was not until Sunday that police could track Miller down to issue a citation for the actor to appear in court, according to Buzzfeed News.

Now, Miller is scheduled for arraignment facing a charge of felony burglary into an unoccupied building on Sept. 26, the outlet noted. (RELATED: Ezra Miller Appears To Party While Arrest Report Plays On A Nearby TV)

The actor is starring in the upcoming movie “The Flash,” which is set to debut June 23, 2023, according to The Digital Fix.

Miller has faced criminal charges and legal trouble in the past. The parents of a 12-year-old girl alleged that the actor distributed drugs and alcohol to their daughter during his time at a North Dakota Native American reservation, and they sought a protective order to keep the actor away from their child. The actor was arrested in Hawaii for a dispute with a couple, according to The Star Advertiser. The couple subsequently filed a temporary restraining order against Miller after the reported altercation, the outlet noted. (RELATED: REPORT: Ezra Miller Gets $500 Fine For Bar Altercation)

The actor allegedly “yelled obscenities and grabbed a microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke and later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts,” the outlet noted.

Miller was also caught on video choking and throwing a girl onto the ground in a viral video:

Several women have detailed the abuse they experienced at the hands of Miller, including the girl caught on the film above. “I think it’s just fun and games — but then it wasn’t,” the woman said, according to Variety.

“The Flash” star also reportedly housed a mother and her three children at a weed farm in Vermont and allegedly left guns and bullets unattended, according to Rolling Stone.

Miller has been known to go by the pronouns “they/them,” telling police in a video caught on tape that “I’m not a sir. I’m transgender nonbinary,” People reported.
