Chloe Lattanzi, daughter of the late Olivia Newton-John, recorded an emotional message for Australian TV reporter Richard Wilkin after she was moved by his tribute to her mother.

“Hi Richard, this is Chloe, I just saw your beautiful tribute to my mummy. I just wanted to hold you,” Lattanzi said, according to the recording reported on by TMZ. ” I saw how much you loved her and I just want you to know she’s free now and out of pain and all the family is here together,” she said.

Lattanzi can be heard becoming emotional during her message of gratitude. “I just felt your love, mummy and I both care about you, care about you so much. I love you my friend, thank you for doing that,” Lattanzi says. “She’s making the sunshine and the dogs are running around and smiling and the horses are galloping.”

She wanted to let Wilkin know that Newton-John was “free from pain now” as she also thanked the television reported for sharing his sentiments about her late mother. (RELATED: Famous Grammy-Winning Singer William Hart Dies At Age 77)
