Teenage Head guitarist Gord Lewis was found dead Sunday in his apartment in Hamilton, Ontario, with his son accused of murder.

Jonathan Lewis, 41, was charged with second-degree murder over the death of his father, according to the New York Post. While an investigation is ongoing, law enforcement suspects the incident was “isolated” and no additional suspects were being sought, the outlet reported.

Reporters from a number of media outlets were allegedly sent a series of messages from two separate email Saturday evening that allegedly were registered in the Johnathan Lewis’ name, according to the Hamilton Spectator. The messages reportedly included a number of references to Gord Lewis being dead, the outlet continued.

A staff member at one of the outlets the emails were sent to called 911 and requested a wellness check at Lewis’ residence, according to the Hamilton Spectator. Police discovered Gord Lewis’ body in his apartment shortly after they arrived, the outlet reported.

Hamilton Detective Sara Beck stated that the elder Lewis sustained “injuries consistent with foul play,” and that law enforcement are “continuing to seek out witnesses and reviewing video in the area,” the NY Post reported.
