NFL hall of famer and commentator Michael Irvin was at the center of a bar fight at Knockout Sports Bar near Dallas, Texas Monday night.

The brawl, which was captured on video, took place at roughly 10 p.m., where a number of bouncers and bar patrons were involved, according to TMZ. (RELATED: ‘Bullet Train’ Star Aaron Taylor-Johnson Suffered Bloody Injury And Passed Out During Filming)

The footage shows Irvin playing pool at the bar with a friend when another man wearing a teal colored t-shirt can be seen approaches, reportedly requesting a photograph with the former Dallas Cowboys star, the outlet reported. Irvin’s friend asked the man in the teal t-shirt to keep moving along, which seemingly sparked an outburst.

Irvin attempted to maintain the peace between all parties and could be seen speaking and gesturing, even hugging the upset man in an effort to prevent further disruption. In spite of his best efforts, the man in teal was still visibly annoyed while venting to another patron.

Moments later, Irvin’s friend seemingly pushes the man from behind as he walks away, prompting the man in the teal shirt to punch the other man in his jaw and face a number of times. An all-out brawl erupted as bouncers from the venue quickly intervened to stop the fist-fight.

Eventually the situation settled down and those involved began leaving the bar. Irvin, who can be seen in the video on the other side of the bar during the incident, also left the building moments after the two men were separated. Local police were not called to attend the scene and are not currently conducting an investigation into the matter, according to TMZ.
