Rapper T.I. reportedly punched a member of The Chainsmokers in the face after a recent night of partying.
Andrew “Drew” Taggart, a member of the chart-topping DJ group called The Chainsmokers, detailed the alleged assault in a TikTok video captioned, “when meeting T.I. goes wrong.” The rapper supposedly punched Drew after the DJ kissed him on the cheek, according to the video.
“T.I literally just punched me in the face,” Drew explained in the video from the back of a car, enticing peels of laughter from the other passengers. “We were on a vibe and I was like, I gave him a kiss on the cheek. It was totally my fault.” His fellow DJ, Alexander “Alex” Pall, can be heard laughing along, according to TMZ.

Drew immediately apologized to T.I after the incident, according to his recounting of the story. “It was the weirdest interaction ever,” Drew noted. “First of all, T.I. is fully in the right here. I was feeling the vibes way too hard. And I kissed T.I on the cheek, and he punched me in the face for it. It’s fully fine.”
