What do you get when you cross actress Emily Blunt with literally any script? A great piece of entertainment. What about when you cross her incredible, undeniable brilliance with a Western?

Well, you’re probably going to get a series that will more than rival my personal favorites, “Yellowstone” and “1883.” And that’s exactly what Amazon Prime is betting on with their next series, “The English,” starring Blunt, according to EW.

The trailer for “The English” dropped on Thursday morning, and it’s arguably the most beautifully shot, chill-inducing trailer I’ve seen since I started writing for the Daily Caller. The story apparently follows Blunt, portraying an aristocratic English woman who teams up with a Pawnee ex-cavalry scout (played by Chaske Spencer) as she crosses the American West well before it was won, some time around 1890.

Reading up on the details of the story made my head hurt a little. It appears to be part epic saga of crossing the plains to Wyoming and part macabre unsolved murder mystery, according to TV Line. Honestly though, whatever it is will be amazing because Blunt is at the helm. She, like myself, has literally never done anything wrong. One interesting tidbit: the series is set for release on Nov. 11, just two days before the two-hour season five premiere of “Yellowstone.” I wonder how Taylor Sheridan feels about that.
