A heckler interrupted President Joe Biden’s speech Thursday in Philadelphia, shouting “fuck Joe Biden.”
Biden was talking about the need for the “willingness to see each other not as enemies but as fellow Americans” when a heckler began screaming, “fuck Joe Biden.”
Biden appeared to hear the chant, noting in his speech that people are entitled to dissent.
“Look, our democracy isn’t perfect, it always has been, notwithstanding those folks you hear on the other side there. They’re entitled to be outrageous. This is a democracy. But history and common sense-” Biden said as the crowd erupted into a round of applause and cheers.
“Good manners is nothing they’ve ever suffered from,” he continued, as he spoke in front of a red backdrop with two Marines behind him.

“Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal,” Biden said. “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundation of our republic.”
“They fan the flames of political violence,” Biden added.
Biden recently attacked Trump supporters as embracing “semi-fascism,” with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre doubling down, arguing Biden’s characterization was accurate.
