Tom Cruise delivered the most jaw-dropping stunts of his career while filming “Mission: Impossible 7,” and the newly released video footage shows just how much of a dare-devil the 60-year-old actor really is.

In the clip, Cruise stands on top of a two-seater plane while mid-air and discusses the 2022 “Top Gun” sequel, “Top Gun: Maverick,” while battling the force of the wind. The jaw-dropping aerial stunt was released on Twitter and has quickly attracted well over 1.1 million views. It can’t be explained, it simply needs to be viewed, and even then it’s hard to believe Cruise was really able to pull this off.

In addition to the obvious feat of pulling off a move as brave as the one in the footage, Cruise also happened to deliver his death-defying aerial performance effortlessly. He seemed to be completely within his comfort zone while he stood atop the plane, and even managed to strike a casual pose while chatting about the movie.

Those who are amazed at the mere sight of Cruise standing on the moving plane will be even more surprised by how the clip ends. Cruise is known for performing his own stunts, but he really outdid himself on this one. (RELATED: Tom Cruise Thanks Fans For Seeing ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ In Theaters)

The sheer element of danger surrounding the stunt was especially apparent when Cruise’s words became challenging to understand as the forceful wind lashed against his face at the high altitude.
