Kris Jenner took a lie detector test on “The Late Late Show” with James Cordon on Thursday, answering long-burning questions about her daughter, Kim Kardashian, and the sex tape that propelled Kim to fame.

Jenner was a good sport about being hooked up to a polygraph machine, but once it was all connected, she admitted to feeling nervous about what she had gotten herself into.

“I’m sweating!” Jenner said, as Cordon asked her a series of questions as Kylie Jenner, Kris’ youngest daughter, looked on.

“Are you ready for this next question? I’m gonna show it to Kylie so I can see her reaction, ” Cordon said as he prepared to drop the bombshell. Kylie shook her head, and said “Ooooh my God, alright,” after sneaking a peek at the question card.

“Did you help Kim release her sex tape?” Cordon asked as the studio lighting went red and ominous music blared.

Jenner gave a slight eye roll and shook her head with an exasperated look on her face. “It’s ok,”  she said, before answering the question.

“No, no,” she said, denying that she had anything to do with her daughter’s infamous 2007 sex tape that portrayed an intimate encounter between Kim and her then-boyfriend, Ray J.

The “Late Late Show” crowd went silent, and the camera panned to show the technician monitoring the polygraph results. As tension continued to build, he gave a thumbs-up, indicating that Jenner had answered truthfully.(RELATED: Kim Kardashian Opts To ‘Pick And Choose’ How To Fight Climate Change)

A look of relief washed over Jenner’s face, as she said “Thank you!”

Applause erupted as the audience reacted to Jenner’s claim that she didn’t release the tape. Kardashian fans have long suspected that Kris Jenner arranged for the tape to be made public in order to boost her daughter’s fame, a theory journalist Ian Halperin claimed to have confirmed in his 2016 book “Kardashian Dynasty,” according to Page Six.

“Of course it’s true!” shouted Cordon.

Jenner composed herself for a moment before interjecting to say “We cleared that up!”

According to the American Psychological Association, “[m]ost psychologists agree that there is little evidence that polygraph tests can accurately detect lies.” The APA also notes that polygraph results are not admissible in court.
