A Louisiana State University student casually strolled onto the football field Saturday during a game between the Tigers and the Southern Jaguars.

The student walked out into the middle of a play to about the 10-yard line with his hands on his hips before he was met and tackled by security. He was later identified as Marwan Okeil by local reports.

The student appeared to be dazed and confused — if not under the influence of something. Okeil rebelled against the security guards who were attempting to remove him from the field, according to WBRZ. He reportedly was shouting at them before he got pummeled to the ground. Okeil was transported to the LSU Police Department, where he was issued a misdemeanor summons for resisting an officer and for criminal trespassing, WBRZ reported. While the student was on his way to the campus police department, the Tigers were putting a beat down on the Southern Jaguars. LSU incredibly scored 65 points during Saturday’s victory in Death Valley to get their first win of the year.

It will be fun to see what sort of shenanigans take place during college football Saturday before and even during the games. This incident was one of the weirder things the college football world has ever seen due to how nonchalantly the student entered the field of play.
