A car exploded during a funeral in Auburn, Washington after a suspect placed a bomb in the vehicle on Aug. 23.
While a funeral was being held at Mountain View Cemetery, a bomb was allegedly placed in the victim’s vehicle destroying the car as well as nearby trees, according to a Facebook post made by the Auburn WA Police Department. No one was injured in the explosion, Fox News reported. As City of Auburn employees followed the vehicle as it fled the area, the suspect shot several rounds at them.
The vehicle of the suspect is a black Acura RL with no license plates, according to the post.
