Nicki Minaj and Latto are lashing out at one another on social media over the placement of their songs in the Grammy Award categories, and their public Twitter feud has been vicious.

The Grammys placed Nicki Minaj’s hit single, “Super Freaky Girl,” in the Pop Music category in spite of dominating the rap charts. Latto’s record “Big Energy” made it into the Rap category in spite of sounding like a pop song. When Latto failed to support Minaj on the placement of her music, the two artists became embattled in a public social media war that continues to unfold on Twitter.

Recordings of phone conversations and images of texts exchanged between the two artists are making the rounds online, and their feud has become a very curt exchange of words. The topic has been a hot one between them for weeks, but the situation erupted Thursday night, according to TMZ.

Minaj seemed disappointed Latto didn’t support her in this matter, and retweeted to Barbz, TMZ noted. This apparently enraged Latto, who slammed Minaj, telling her she “can’t win for losing,” according to TMZ. “You Ain’t Gone Bully Me BITCH!” Latto wrote to Minaj. Minaj retaliated by calling Latto a “Karen” and a “Scratch-off,”and Latto shot back by calling Nicki a 40-year-old bully, the outlet continued.

Latto then uploaded a phone recording of a discussion she had with Minaj and the two ladies could be heard verbally fighting with each another, according to TMZ.

The artists continue to battle each another online.
