A TikTok user went viral in October after sharing a video of the moments leading up to her being gored by a bison.

Rebecca Clark was reportedly hiking alone through Caprock Canyons State Park and Trailway in Texas when bison charged and gored her, according to the caption in her video. Clark admitted in the caption that she was way too close to the huge animals, which are protected in the state of Texas, but that didn’t stop her haunting video from getting a huge response online.

@rebeccaclark Solo hiking at Caprock Canyons State Park & Trailway in Texas. I was charged and gored by a bison because I was to CLOSE to be passing them on a trailway They are beautiful creatures protected by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) and are a part of the Texas State Bison Restoration Project where the park has restored the historic Charles Goodnight Bison herd (The Official Texas State Bison Herd) to a portion of its former range in the park. I am posting to support safety while enjoying Texas State Parks #TPWD #bisonetiquette101 #hikingsafety #llbean #chaos #rei ♬ dumb dumb – sped up – mazie

Clark’s video amassed more than 300,000 likes and 2,000,000 views since being posted in mid-October. “There you go, keep going. I don’t want to deal with them. I just want to go by, come on keep going,” Clark can be heard almost singing to herself in the clip. “I just want to get by, okay thank you, I appreciate it. I didn’t want to go through the bushes again.”

Just when you think she’s going to get by, Clark’s blood-curdling screams can be heard echoing through the wilderness. (RELATED: Chris, Liam, And Luke Hemsworth Are Funding Research To Revive Extinct Wild Animal)

Clark explained in follow-up videos on her TikTok page that the bison rammed her in the back, gored her, and threw her body into a mesquite bush, leaving her with a hole in her back. She remained in the bush for almost an hour as there was not enough service to call 911 so had to depend on sending messages to friends and family. She was eventually flown to United Regional Healthcare Hospital in Wichita Falls, according to Chron.
