Former FBI agent Ben Hansen claimed in early October that dozens of airline pilots have reported unidentified flying objects/unidentified aerial phenomena (UFO/UAPs) over the Pacific Ocean since August.

Hansen, who hosts the Discovery+ show “UFO Witness,” was provided with footage and air traffic control recordings of pilots, seemingly perplexed while trying to describe what they were witnessing while soaring through the sky. Reports came from pilots flying for Southwest Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, and other major commercial and charter flight providers from early August to late September, Hansen claimed.

“We’ve got a few aircraft to our north here and he’s going around in circles, much higher altitude than us. Any idea what they are?” charter jet and former military pilot Mark Hulsey said in one of the recordings during a flight off the California coast near Los Angeles. The response from the controller is chilling, as he could not tell what was going on in the sky above him.

Hulsey then radioed back less than 30 minutes later to say that the three aircraft had increased to seven, all flying thousands of feet above him. “They just keep going in circles. I was an F-18 pilot in the Marine Corps, and I’m telling you, I’ve done many intercepts, I’ve never seen anything like this,” Hulsey tells the controller. Hansen claims more than 15 commercial flights saw these peculiar lights. Six pilots are willing to give their accounts of the events on record to investigating agencies. It’s unclear whether the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO)  Hulsey and the slew of other pilots included in Hansen’s extensive report.
