Three CNN anchors touted their upcoming morning program in a recently-released teaser trailer.

The trailer featured anchor and former Daily Caller reporter Kaitlan Collins, Don Lemon and Poppy Harlow sitting inside a coffee shop promoting their new program, “CNN This Morning,” which is slated to begin November 1. They touted the upcoming show’s ability to “connect the dots” and allow people “to be heard.”

“It’s your job to connect all the dots and for someone who is like, getting their kids ready in the morning and has five minutes to watch the news,” Collins said.

“People just want to be heard,” Harlow added.

“It’s really all about the conversation,” Lemon then said. “We’re the place for accuracy and we’re the place for context.”

The show is set to air on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. to replace the network’s current morning show, “New Day.” CNN President Chris Licht announced the programming change in September in an effort to shift the network’s political leaning closer to the center of the political spectrum. Licht praised the three hosts in a statement announcing the new program, promising a “smart, bold and refreshing way” to receive the news in the morning.

“There is no stronger combination of talent than Don, Poppy and Kaitlan to deliver on our promise of a game-changing morning news program,” he said. “They are each uniquely intelligent, reliable and compelling; together they have a rare and palpable chemistry. Combined with CNN’s resources and global news gathering capabilities, we will offer a smart, bold and refreshing way to start the day.”

The new show is one of several of Licht’s network reforms since assuming the role CNN president in April. A drive for greater bipartisan coverage led to the cancellation of the program “Reliable Sources” and the termination of the show’s anchor, Brian Stelter.
