A snorkeler narrowly avoided a monster shark in a terrifying video posted to TikTok.

The video was posted by FishingFins and shows a woman sitting on a ladder off of a boat preparing to enter the water. She dips her face in the deep blue before suddenly jumping backwards as a massive shark pops up out of the water, mouth agape.

The snorkeler quickly pulled her feet up as the sharks’ mouth widens and appears to try and get closer to her feet.

The shark is seen going back under the water before the video ends.

A Pennsylvania woman was recently killed while snorkeling in the Bahamas after she was attacked by a shark, according to WIVB.
