Migos Rapper Takeoff Reportedly Shot And Killed

Migos rapper Takeoff, whose birth name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, died early Tuesday morning at the age of 28 at Billiards & Bowling in Houston.

Law enforcement sources and various witnesses at the scene of the crime indicated Takeoff was playing dice with fellow Migos member Quavo when an altercation broke out and someone opened fire, according to TMZ. Takeoff was shot and pronounced dead on the scene, according to TMZ.

Two other individuals were also shot and were transported to the hospital by car. The condition of those individuals remains unknown. Quavo was not injured in this altercation, according to TMZ.

Takeoff posted selfies from within the bowling alley hours before he was killed.

Takeoff was born in Georgia and gained worldwide fame in 2016 when Migos released their Lil Uzi Vert collaboration, Bad and Boujee, which peaked at No 1 in the U.S., according to The Guardian.

Quavo and Takeoff worked as a duo to release “Unc & Phew” featuring the music video for their single “Messy,” which was released Monday.
