Miss Argentina And Miss Puerto Rico Reveal They Secretly Got Married

Miss Argentina and Miss Puerto Rico revealed they were secretly married Oct. 28 in an Instagram reel.

The happy couple have shared images about their friendship on social media but had never indicated they were more than that, according to The New York Post. The two beauty queens met at the 2020 Miss Grand International competition where they both ended up in the Top 10.

Mariana Varela (Former Miss Argentina) and Fabiola Valentín (Former Miss Puerto-Rico) revealed their new relationship in a joint reel. “After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened the doors to them on a special day,” they wrote in the caption.

Varela and Valentín shared images and videos that showed the love between them as they enjoyed one another’s company and posed for the camera in moments of blissful joy and celebration. They have almost 300,000 followers between them, and many of their faithful fans wasted no time at all rushing to the comments section in celebration of this newly announced union. Fans shared congratulatory messages and the reel garnered over 180,000 ‘likes’ on social media.

The video clip shared on Instagram shows the happy couple holding hands on the beach and kissing one another affectionately. It also flashes back to their engagement, and depicts strategically placed roses that spelled the words ‘I love you” in Spanish – “Te Amo.” Red and champagne colored balloons were strewn about, and an oversized “Marry Me” sign cascaded from the window.

The video shows Valentín putting an engagement ring on Varela, and captures big smiles as they celebrate their new marriage.
