Police in Butler County, Ohio, said they seized enough fentanyl to kill roughly 190,000 people in a single drug bust Monday.
Edward Fox, 33, was charged with three counts of trafficking drugs and 3 counts of possession of drugs, according to a Facebook post by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office. Police arrested Fox with 570 grams of fentanyl, 660 grams of meth and 139 grams of crack cocaine.

“We will continue to get these lethal drugs off the streets and put the drug dealers behind bars,” Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones said, according to the post. (RELATED: Authorities Confiscate 150,000 Fentanyl Pills In Largest Seizure In Oregon’s History)
Pierre Wilson, 38, was also charged with having weapons while under disability, according to police. A judge set both Wilson and Fox’s bonds at $10,000.
Another Ohio man was convicted Oct. 13 of possessing fentanyl and heroin, according to a Department of Justice (DOJ) news release. Officers found over 800 grams of fentanyl at three different houses, amounting to about 400,000 lethal doses.
Senate Republicans released a video Oct. 6 warning parents about the dangers of rainbow fentanyl pills in preparation for Halloween. At the time of the video’s release, law enforcement had seized the pills in 18 states.
