Famous singer and MTV personality Chanel West Coast is now the mother of a baby girl, following a very challenging delivery.
Chanel West Coast announced the birth of her first child on her Instagram story Wednesday, officially making her and her boyfriend Dom Fenison first-time parents. The 34-year-old star, who gained notoriety as part of the panel of hosts of the show “Ridiculousness,” opened up to fans her struggles trying to deliver her baby. “After many hours in labor I ended up giving birth to my baby girl via c-section,” she wrote. “A few complications and she didn’t wanna just pop out on her own,” she said.

West Coast described the very eventful moments leading up to the joy of holding her new child.
She said it was “the scariest yet most rewarding day of [her] life by far. “Never felt a love like this before. She’s [the baby] the best thing that ever [happened] to [her].”

She recognized Fenison by saying he gave her “the greatest gift in the world” and said he is “such an amazing dad already.”
West Coast concluded her message by writing “Love you both soooo much.”
She proceeded to share a photograph of her newborn and wrote, “Our lil nugget sound asleep,” overtop of the image.
West Coast did not reveal the name of her bundle of joy.
