Comedian Bill Maher said during his latest “Club Random” podcast that President Joe Biden is “doing a great job” but gets a bad reputation for minute things.
Maher was interviewing Kris Jenner when the duo began talking about age, noting that “The View” co-host Joy Behar is 80-years-old.
“Age is just a number,” Jenner said, when referring to Behar’s age.
“Well, okay, it’s a number that can really fuck you up and make you look bad,” Maher said. “I mean ask Joe Biden. Good night everybody. Biden’s approval ratings have steadily been slipping, though a recent Reuters-Ipsos poll did see a slight uptick in his approval rating. The poll found 40% of Americans approve of Biden’s job as president. The poll also found 55% of Americans disapprove of Biden, however.
Voters are also increasingly worried about inflation and are veering away from Democrats ahead of the midterms.
A recent Morning Consult/Politico poll found 93% of voters are concerned with inflation while three out of four Democrats polled said the economy would play a role in who they vote for. The same poll found 46% of voters trusted Republicans in Congress to handle inflation while just 37% trust Democrats.
