This week, Saturday came a day after Sunday.

Sixty plays from the Indianapolis Colts only produced 121 total offensive yards in their Nov. 6 game against the New England Patriots, tallying up an average of only 2.0 yards-per-play.

As a result of the atrocious performance — one of the worst in recent Colts history — the NFL franchise made the move to fire head coach Frank Reich, who was currently serving his fifth year, according to ESPN.

Replacing Reich on an interim basis will be Jeff Saturday, who played for the Colts from 1999 until 2011. Before getting the interim gig, Saturday was working for ESPN as an analyst, as well as a consultant for the Colts and in their Ring of Honor. Saturday also has previous football head coaching experience on his resume, serving three years in the position at Hebron Christian Academy in Dacula, Georgia.

The Indianapolis Colts have been dismal this season, especially in the last three weeks, with the team on a three-game losing streak. Sunday’s 26-3 blowout loss against the Patriots was just the latest example of of the Colts, well, being outright trash.

Quite frankly, the Colts are in a state of chaos.

The offense is absolutely horrific. They just fired Marcus Brady last week from his offensive coordinator position, which didn’t help. They also made the quarterback change from Matt Ryan to Sam Ehlinger, which didn’t help either. It’s just been horrible — two-yards-per-play horrible.

Personally, yours truly doesn’t mind the Indianapolis Colts being shit. An ex-girlfriend was a huge fan of the Colts, and she was annoying as hell with that damn team — plus, what possesses somebody outside of Indiana to be a fan of the Colts with their basic blue and white jerseys, and basic helmet logo to go along with it?

And not to mention the team is in boring-ass Indianapolis.

The last time the Colts had swag was in the days when Peyton Manning, Edgerrin James and Reggie Wayne were terrorizing the league with their potent offense (and their swag was strictly because of that offense), and that was friggin’ years ago — all three of those guys are retired now. Here in 2022, what swag do the Colts have?

A washed-up Matt Ryan?

Have fun with that.
