College basketball had their season’s opening night Nov. 7 and one of the games featured a 108-point blowout, with Bryant University absolutely destroying Thomas College, 147-39.

Thomas might be a Division III school, but this is still very telling of a Bryant team that’s fresh out of their first NCAA Tournament bid in school history last season, when they racked up a flashy 22-10 (15-2) record with a Northeast Conference Championship ring on their fingers.

The head coach of Bryant University, Jared Grasso — in G fashion — defended his team running up the score and didn’t apologize whatsoever, dropping so many great quotes in the process.

“I’m never going to tell my guys to stop playing hard … whether we’re playing Thomas or we’re playing Kentucky,” he told Sports Anchor & Reporter at ABC 6 Ian Steele. “I can’t walk into the locker room and say ‘Let’s hold the ball.’”

Jared “G is for” Grasso even said that he had no interest in “calling off the dogs.”

No apologies whatsoever! Love that!

And just check out how the guy carries himself with the press:

The swag-o-meter completely goes off with this team. They got the alpha male head coach with the slicked-back hair, the championship ring from the Northeast Conference Tournament last season, the NCAA Tournament appearance on their resume, the players are looking good on the court (both performance wise and in terms of marketability), they now have a 108-point blowout win to boast about, and who doesn’t love a good bulldog as a mascot? Consider yours truly now a fan — there’s a load of swag on this basketball team.
