Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson made a surprise visit on Monday to a young fan with a heart condition, causing the child tears of joy.

A now viral video shows a young Ravens fan named Landon seated at a table before he is greeted by the 2019 NFL MVP.

Upon seeing Jackson, Landon immediately rushed over to hug him, began to cry, and refused to let go.

“He had no clue,” the woman recording the video said.

“He’s making my day,” Jackson responded.

“I like the jersey too,” Jackson said to Landon. “Wipe the tears, man, wipe the tears.”

Landon was also able to attend the Raven’s “Monday Night Football” win over the New Orleans Saints, and met Jackson once more on the field for a photo, TMZ reported. Other Ravens players also greeted the young fan and gifted him with autographs. The meeting between Jackson and Landon was arranged after the boy’s father contacted both the Ravens and Saints organizations requesting his son meet Jackson, according to TMZ.

“My heart melted because I knew I was going to be able to fulfill my son’s dream,” Landon’s father, Jason Berry, said in a social media post, according to TMZ, “What an unbelievable experience for Landon (one we know he will NEVER forget).”

No specifics were provided about Landon’s condition or prognosis, Athlon Sports reported.
